Homecoming and Student Association online elections will be held Tuesday through Friday this week.

Students can go online (voting.svsu.edu) beginning tomorrow at 8 a.m. to elect this year's Homecoming king and queen as well as five new SA representatives. In order to vote, students will need to log in to the system using their regular user name and password.

Six candidates from a variety of student organizations are in the running for king, with six more vying for the position of queen. Brandon Roach from Minority Student Groups, George Davis from Living Center North Council, Nick Frees from Sigma Pi, Nick Trewhella from Tau Kappa Epsilon, Joe Brooks from Delta Sigma Pi, and Aaron Brown from Student Association are running for king.

Darcy Hope from Alpha Sigma Alpha, Heidi Richards from Kappa Tau Epsilon, Angie Moakes from His House, Tori Oxley from Student Association, Ashley Verner from Alpha Phi Omega, and Kamilah Davis from the dance team are running for queen.

The winner will be announced during halftime of Saturday's game against Northwood.

Ten candidates will vie for the five open SA positions during this election, which is reserved for freshmen, transfer students, and anyone who was not a student at SVSU last year.

This year's candidates are Bridget Sobek, Ryan Kanine, Nikki Hunt, Sienna Wallace, Sarah Leslie, David Stevens, Angela Taylor, Isaac Hudson, Rebecca Griffin, and Amanda Courter.

SA election results will be available at Student Life by 3 p.m. Friday. Voting for both homecoming and SA ends on Friday at 8 a.m.
