Have you ever been sitting on the couch watching The Cosby Show on Nick at Nite and thinking to yourself, "Man, that Jell-O guy just doesn't go away?" Do you ever wish that some of your favorite shows would find their way to late-night syndication and not just the shows that the network executives think you love? And if you're thinking Doogie Howser, M.D. right now, then pay attention to what I say next: All of your favorite television shows are – or will be in the near future – on DVD.

That's right, this March, Doogie can come home with you – in DVD form. No longer will you have to wait until TBS starts showing something besides Friends, or until FOX realizes that nobody can love Raymond enough to warrant so many showings of his sitcom. You want something different, and by golly Anchor Bay Entertainment wants to give it to you.

Now, if you've been living under a rock or in PBS's Frontier House and you're unaware that TV shows are available on DVD, take a trip to the local Best Buy store. Here you will find an entire aisle dedicated to TV show DVDs – and that aisle is expanding every day.

Thought you'd seen the last of Jimmy "J.J." Walker? Well, DYN-O-MITE! Three seasons of Good Times are on DVD with a fourth on the way. Beanie Babies and L.L. Bean catalogs only make you miss Mr. Bean? Then pick up The Complete Mr. Bean box set. Been wondering if Martin Lawrence was ever really funny? Sorry, Martin isn't on DVD... yet.

But Golden Girls is. And so is Boy Meets World. And Millennium, Just Shoot Me, Taxi, MacGyver, and Who's the Boss? Oh, and the first seasons of Full House, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Murphy Brown, and Night Court are being released this month.

Not enough for you? The series Buffy the Vampire Slayer already has seven DVD releases to its name.

Still not impressed? Then visit www.tvshowsondvd.com. This website lists over 4,000 different TV show DVDs. Everything from 21 Jump Street to The Zack Files. And if your favorite show isn't available on DVD, you can use the web site to vote for that show to be put on DVD.

So if you've been missing Herman's Head so much that you've stopped eating and haven't left your house in weeks, or if the loss of Dharma & Greg has you suffering from night terrors, then ease your pain by voting for the release of these shows.

Only you can bring TV shows back from the dead, so support those lost sitcoms with one click of the mouse.

And while you're at it, put in a vote for The Adventures of Pete & Pete for me.
