The white squad ran away with the game, behind freshman quarterbacks Steven Paye and Dustin Mayner's three combine touchdowns, finishing with a 30-7 win.

Sophomore running back Brad Crandall breaks a tackle during the white squad's runaway victory on Saturday. The white squad did most of their damage through the air, connecting on 30, 70 and 85-yard touchdown passes to junior receiver Galen Stone, sophomore receiver Michael Meade and freshman receiver Matt LaCanne, respectively.
It felt like fall in a cool and breezy Wickes Stadium during Saturday's spring game when SVSU got its first look at its 2008 squad.
