A note from the editor

As you may or may have not noticed, changes are being made to the A&E section of the paper. As the new section editor, I thought an overhaul sounded like a good idea, but what to do?

A few ideas from students got to me through a friend that I've tried to utilize - weekly coverage of campus or student art, student bands and local hotspots and a weekly A&E related event calendar (this letter taking place of that this week only). I picture some weeks only featuring two of these three serialized items so that more in-depth coverage of them can occur.

With that in mind, I turn to you, the reader. Do you like these changes? More importantly, if you're a student working on an interesting piece of art (please note: This does not solely mean a painting or sculpture. I'm looking for senior theater projects, artwork featured off-campus, interesting music work being done on or off-campus), play for a local band or would like to see a specific local venue covered, I'd like to hear from you.
