Michigan Tech holds on at Northwood

The Huskies took a 28-7 lead into halftime but needed a 48-yard field goal by Tyler Cattelino as the clock expired to improve to 3-0 in the GLIAC. Northwood scored 20 points in the fourth quarter in their comeback and took the lead with 42 seconds left. The Timberwolves, ranked 15th in the nation going into the game, fell to 2-1 on the season.

Hillsdale blows out Ashland

The Chargers also improved to 3-0 on the season by demolishing Ashland 49-28 in Hillsdale. The visiting Eagles found themselves down 21-0 after the first quarter and 42-7 just three seconds into the fourth quarter.
