Local rock at Dawn of a New Day Cafe

Saginaw-based indie rock outfit Your Best Friend will be performing at the Dawn of a New Day Cafe in Saginaw on March 30. Also on the bill are Island View Drive, The Confidence, and local metallers onyxlovemagnet. The address for the cafe is 126 N. Franklin St. The show is set to start at 7 p.m.

Large collection of Inuit Art displayed at Marshall M. Fredericks Sculpture Museum

Inuit Art from the Denno's Museum Center collection, considered to be one of the largest collections of Inuit art in the United States, is on display at Marshall M. Fredericks Sculpture Museum. Midland hosts photography display

Photographer Harold Edgerton's work will be on display at the Dow Museum of Science and Art now through April. Edgerton used a stroboscope, which he also invented, to allow for high-speed photography capable of capturing everything from bullets to the wings of hummingbirds.
