Annual concert planning underway

Program Board has begun petitioning artists to perform at the annual end-of-year concert. This year's committee members have been working with some big-name musicians in hopes of bringing an artist to SVSU.

Although negotiations are still taking place, a $55,000 bid was placed for All-American Rejects on Tuesday.

If the bid fails, Program Board will be looking into alternative artists, some of which might include Shinedown, Trapt, Three Days Grace and Blue October.

This year's concert is set to take place sometime in April and will be available to SVSU students for around $25 to $35. Bidding continues into this week and more details will follow.

Last year's concert featured Dashboard Confessional. Ludacris performed two years ago.
