New CDs Nov. 21

The first ever "hits" collection for those British brothers Oasis hits stores tomorrow. Stop the Clocks, while technically a "best-of" compilation, features no songs from the Oasis disc Be Here Now, and only one song each from other recent albums.

New to DVD Nov. 21

The sequel to the blockbuster Ice Age hits stores tomorrow. Titled The Meltdown, it follows the characters from the first movie once "the chill is gone" (hence the title The Meltdown). Also coming to DVD is the Owen Wilson comedy You, Me and Dupree.

New CDs Nov. 28

Remember Incubus? They have a new CD called Light Grenades coming out on the 28. The Ying Yang Twins return as well with a disc titled Chemically Imbalanced.

New to DVD Nov. 28

"Good God! It's Kane! The Big Smelly Monster is here!" Jim Ross couldn't have said it better. Look for Kane's movie See No Evil on DVD the 28. And if horror isn't your thing, there's comedy in the form of Clerks 2, action in Superman Returns, and family fun in The Ant Bully.

Sony launches new system

Friday saw the release of the next-generation Sony video game platform, the cleverly titled PlayStation 3. Launch titles for the new system include Tony Hawk's Project 8, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, and Call of Duty 3. Upcoming titles include Final Fantasy XIII, Resident Evil 5, and Grand Theft Auto IV.
