Renovations to the baseball and softball fields are approximately 75 percent complete, University officials say.
Construction workers are currently pouring concrete for the $890,000 project that will add new dugouts and bleachers to both fields, says Director of Engineering Services Gerald Stuart. Stuart says the project, which began in mid-September, is on schedule and should be completed for the beginning of the season. »

Prof's adaption coming to stage
"A Christmas Carol: Marley's Redemption" will be performed in the Malcolm Field Theatre for Performing Arts beginning Dec. 1.
The story was originally written by Charles Dickens in the 19th century about a cold-spirited old man named Ebenezer Scrooge who has no Christmas spirit. Scrooge is visited by his old deceased partner, Jacob Marley, and later by three more spirits that help Scrooge redeem his good heart. »
Food festival celebrates multiculturalism with traditional, contemporary ethnic food
