This movie has it all: a compelling rat maze of a story, excellent acting by excellent actors, and that unique Scorcese mood all coming together for a movie of such quality that it can easily stand alongside masterpieces like Goodfellas. »

Sad week for movies on DVD

This week is a pretty uneventful one for new releases. Adam Sandler's poorly received Click, Garfield's even less admired Garfield: A Tale of Two Kitties and A Prairie Home Companion will all find their way to store shelves tomorrow. Don't worry about picking up the Garrison Keillor flick, though: your parents probably pre-ordered it. Oh, and you'll have to wait until next week to experience The Break Up - the movie, that is. »
