It's time for another academic year and another year of math club! Join us for our first meeting:

We'll have pizza, pop, and math. All of our club officers have graduated -- congrats to them -- so we will need to elect all new people to the positions. Also, start thinking about the Michigan Autumn Take-Home Challenge (MATHC), a team competition to be held on campus Saturday, October 31. We are defending the 1st place title!

Happy new year!
The math club will try to meet about every other week this semester. Our main focus for now is practicing for the LMMC -- Lower Michigan Mathematics Competition. In this competition, teams of 2-3 students work together to tackle challenging problems on a range of topics. We had a lot of fun last year, and we hope lots of students will participate this time.
LMMC will be Saturday, April 4, at Albion College. If you want to compete, contact us and come to the meetings!
