My Perfect Ending    Leslie Stanley

No rose petals

champagne bottle

kisses or

cuddles in the sheets

Not a carriage

glass slipper or

castle in the sky

I do not like aimless gowns

a long staircase to grace down

or a weighted ring

I do not want

rain pouring

clouds parting

Then sun shining

Just this boy

Absolute sure

dark hair

blue eyes confessing

Over coffee

love

With no words
