through her family. She has relatives who paint and create home

crafts. Her father had a small art studio in his basement and would

dabble with a brush. For herself, she would rather "paint" with

words, but she is learning, as a graphic arts minor, to "see" the

world around her and within her, and express it in creative visual

forms.
