Cardinal Sins is produced by the students and faculty of Saginaw Valley State University. Works by students, faculty, staff and alumni are eligible for submission. All submissions are considered for publication. Judging is done by blind voting of the editorial staff.

Cardinal Sins,SVSU's literary magazine, is in its 28th year of existence. With technology improvements, Cardinal Sins has evolved into an award winning magazine. Please enjoy our online issues. The first issue of Cardinal Sins is reprinted in its entirety in the Fall 2005 issue. The Fall 2005 issue received a First Place with Special Merit from the American Scholastic Press Association and the same year Cardinal Sins was selected as SVSU's Most Improved Student Organization.
