We at Saginaw Valley State University are fortunate to enjoy a campus atmosphere that is conducive to learning, dedicated to academic freedom, and welcoming to people of all backgrounds. We can be proud of our collective work to meet this objectives, but there is always room for improvement.
During the 2014 fall semester, we conducted the Cardinal Climate Survey to give students, faculty and staff an opportunity to share their thoughts and insights about our campus climate.
The findings of this survey are complete and will be presented by our consultant, Sue Rankin, Ph.D., a nationally recognized leader in this area. In addition, an executive summary and a full report of the findings will be available at svsu.edu/climatesurvey/studyresults.
We are committed to maintaining an institution that is open and respectful to all whom we serve. This requires the participation of all interested parties. I encourage you to attend one of the town hall forums. .
