OLLI Interest Groups
Over the years, we have learned that people join OLLI for two major reasons. The first is the opportunity to learn new things, but a secondary, and sometimes more important reason, is the opportunity to meet new friends who have similar interests. Our Interest Groups bring together members who have similar interests or hope to meet others socially.
Our current Interest Groups include:
Lunch Group - SVSU |
Meets monthly for lunch on the third Friday. |
Thumb - Lunch Group |
This new lunch group meets monthly for lunch |
Dinner Group |
Group meets monthly for dinner generally on |
Bridge Group |
Meets every Friday at 1 p.m. at SVSU (Curtiss 143).

Theatre Group |
Theatre Group: Attends one local production a monthly.

Buddhist Psychology Group |
Group meets on the first Friday morning of most months at 10 a.m. in Curtiss 140 at SVSU. Dr. Eric De Vos leads informal discussions about Buddhist thought.

Bicycling Group |
Bicycling Group Weather permitting, meets weekly and rides 15-30 miles |
Cross Country Skiing Group |
Cross Country Skiing Group This group meets weekly when there is enough snow on the ground.

Games Group |
Games group meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 4 - 6 p.m. in the OLLI classroom, Curtiss 143. |
Writing Group |
This group gives members a chance to critiqueeach others work, and share ideas & techniques. A specific meeting time has not yet been decided. If you are interested, or would like to be discuss how it might work. |
