Are you finding that some of your customers or co-workers prefer doing their business in Spanish? Are you traveling to a Spanish-speaking country for pleasure? In this course, you will learn essential vocabulary and phrases needed to begin communicating immediately with Spanish speakers.
Conversational Spanish I
This is a beginning course in Spanish which emphasizes oral communication in a variety of topics at a basic level. It covers only that grammar and structure that are absolutely necessary for speaking. The course is intended for students with none to some knowledge of the Spanish language. A minimum of 1 - 2 hours of additional work in the language is required per week. The class will meet Tuesdays and Thursday of each week, 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm at SVSU. September 23 – November 13, 2014. $250 Registration Fee
Conversational Spanish II
Conversational Spanish II - The purpose of this course is to further the students' conversational skills in Spanish. In addition to new vocabulary, the past tense and other useful grammatical points will be covered. As in the first course, there will be great emphasis on developing the students' speaking ability. The students will create their own dialogues on specified topics, and will be responsible for several readings and several short compositions. A minimum of 1 - 2 hours of additional work in the language is required per week. The class will meet Tuesdays and Thursday of each week, 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm at SVSU. January 13 – March 5, 2014. $250 Registration Fee
BOTH COURSES: $450 at the time of registration. You must register by September 12. 2014 to get the package pricing.
