SVSU Office of Continuing Ed & Professional Development in partnership with the College of Business & Management introduces the new “Project Management Certificate Program. This will be a five day course scheduled to begin SEPTEMBER 10, 2008.
Today’s rapidly changing business environment has created explosive growth in projects of all sizes and across virtually all domains of an enterprise. Projects requiring strategic management are found in educational institutions, health care, government, manufacturing and even in the smallest private professional practices. This course addresses the globally recognized framework for project management and prepares participants for the nationally recognized Project Management Professional (PMP) certification exam. The course is not targeted at a specific industry sector and also covers the general principles of the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) on which the PMP certification exam is based.
