Co-ops & Internships

Introduction

Relevant experience is one of the most important factors employers consider when making hiring decisions. By participating in co-ops, internships, externships, or field placements, collectively called experiential education, you not only better your understanding of your future profession, but also increase your value to potential employers after graduation. While serving in a co-op capacity, students may be expected to work up to 28 hours per week, depending on employer directives, while maintaining adequate academic performance in their studies.
