Export Outreach collects personal information when you take the export readiness online survey. When you take the export readiness survey we ask for information such as your name, email address, business / home address, birth date, gender, zip code, occupation, industry, and personal interests. What is done with the information collected? Export Outreach uses information for the following general purposes: to improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external clients. If you wish to not receive phone calls, mail, emails, or other solicitations, remember to not check the box that states "for updates click here." What can I do to better protect myself on the Internet? Meeting new people in an online community (chat room, forum, newsgroup, message board, Web page, etc.) is one of the best things about the Internet, but you should always be careful about disclosing personal information such as an actual name, member name, email address, and so on. This information may be collected and used by others within the online community to send unsolicited email messages from other parties, outside the Export Outreach network.
