A Brief History
For nine consecutive years, students from Saginaw Valley State University and Grand Valley State University have seized the interest in the schools’ football rivalry and competed in a charitable fundraising competition known as “Battle of the Valleys."
A variety of entertaining fundraising activities make up the schedule for the week. Past fund-raising activities have included:
- Traveling bake sale
- T-shirt sales
- Donation collections at campus intersections
- Car Smash
- Date auction
