A Brief History

For seven consecutive years, students from Saginaw Valley State University and Grand Valley State University have seized the interest in the schools’ football rivalry and comepeted in a charitable fundraising competition known as “Battle of the Valleys."

A variety of entertaining fundraising activities make up the schedule for the week. Past fund-raising activities have included:

• Traveling bake sale
• T-shirt sales (2009 shirt pictured)
  
• Donation collections at campus intersections
• “Cardinal Idol” competition
