Cross Country Squad Recognized for Academics

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University women's cross country team has been named to the NCAA Division II Cross Country Coaches Association 2004 All-Academic Team. In order to achieve this honor, the cumulative grade point average of the team must be 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. The Cardinal harriers accumulated a team GPA of 3.390.
     The members of the team are: seniors Diane Johnston and Meagan Strohkirch; junior Jenny Bellsky; sophomores Melody Coates, Kelli Kaiser and Jessica Sweeney; and freshmen Lauren Gallagher, Courtney Kotewa, Jenny Phelan, Annette Pretzer, Becca Rudey and Ashton Strohkirch.
     Congratulations to all of these hard working student-athletes.
