                                             SVSU Downs Hillsdale

University Center, Mich.- The host lady Cardinals defeated Hillsdale 6-3 on Friday
(Oct. 11) at the SVSU tennis courts. The victory improves the Cardinals record to 4-5 on the season, while the Chargers fall to 2-8.
     SVSU took two of three in doubles play, as the pair of Samantha Dodson (Frankenmuth, Mich.) and Nikki Schwarz (Battle Creek, Mich.) highlighted the match with a impressive 8-1 victory at the second flight.
In singles action, the Cardinals won the last four flights, as Dodson, Brooke Kennedy (Walled Lake, Mich./Western HS), Cassie Jastrzebski (Fraser, Mich.), and Andrea Prociv (Jackson, Mich./Lumen Christi HS) all won in straight-sets.
     SVSU will be in action on Saturday (Oct. 12) at 10 a.m. when the Cardinals host Wayne State.
