The second half was scoreless until Pruitt scored an unassisted goal at 68:34 to make it 3-2. Brick then tied the game at 86:53 on another unassisted goal that tied the game and eventually sent the game to overtime. In overtime, junior Ashleigh Burke (Saginaw, Mich./Heritage) booted in the game winner at 97:51 on an assist from Julie Connor (East Lansing, Mich.). LaLond went the distance in net and stopped 13 of the 16 shots she faced to earn the victory.
