Lady Cardinals Tie Bulldogs

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Lady Cardinals' soccer team tied Ferris State University 0-0 on Sunday afternoon (October 13).
     Both teams had plenty of opportunities to score but both goalkeepers played out standing. Linde McCubbin (Saginaw, Mich./Heritage HS) kept the Bulldogs off the scoreboard with her nine saves. The Cardinals managed to fire eleven shots at Ferris goaltender Alana Dombroski, but couldn't manage to slip one by her. Katie Kreh (Saginaw, Mich./Valley Luthern HS) led the Cardinals attack with four shots on goal.
     The tie moves SVSU to 2-10-1 (0-3-1 GLIAC) on the season, while Ferris State is now 4-6-2 (0-1-1 GLIAC). The Cardinals will be back in action on Wednesday (October 16) when they travel to Northwood University at 4:00p.m.
