January 12, 2004 CARDS WIN FIFTH STRAIGHT WITH A 66-56 WIN OVER NORTHWOOD UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – Junior Jennifer Hagstrom (Cadillac, Mich.) recorded a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds and fell two blocks short of a triple-double with a career-high eight blocks in a 66-56 win over Northwood on Monday. Sophomore Valerie Smith (Owosso, Mich.) struggled through a tough shooting night and recorded 13 rebounds and five blocks. Senior Jennifer Brogger (Harbor Springs, Mich.) hit for a game-high 25 points and six assists in 33 minutes as the Cardinals posted their fifth straight win to improve to 12-3 overall and 4-2 in the GLIAC.
