Tournament

scored 32 points and Maureen O'Malley knocked down six triples
to help the Golden Eagles fly past the Lady Cardinals 71-66 in

"She's a tremendous player,"
Cardinal head coach Kim Chandler said of Vogelzang. "Not
only did she score (32 points), but (O'Malley) got hot. They're
a very solid team that was hitting on all cylinders. We couldn't
turn the corner against them."

Weber (Chicago, Ill./St. Benedict's), who came off-the-bench
to score 15 points in 20 minutes. Kathryn Williams
(Detroit/Martin Luther King) added 14 points and seven
rebounds.
The loss is the first of the season
for the Cardinals, putting their record at 3-1. The Cards will
open conference play against Wayne State in Detroit on Saturday,
December 1 at 1 pm.
