Volleyball Escapes with Win, Remains Undefeated

CHICAGO, Ill. - The SVSU volleyball came back from two games down against Winona State to win in five games by scores of 15-25, 19-25, 25-21, 25-13 and 15-12 to push their unbeaten streak to seven games to begin the 2008 season. The Cardinals would then go on to take three straight from St. Joseph’s by scores of 25-20, 25-10 and 25-22 to extend that streak to eight matches. [more»]
 

Cardinals Remain Undefeated on the Season

Katie FitzgeraldCHICAGO, Ill. - The Saginaw Valley State University volleyball team remained undefeated on the season moving their record to 6-0 with two wins at the Flyer Invitational in Chicago, Ill. SVSU defeated Western New Mexico in its first match of the day in five games by scores of 25-22, 18-25, 25-20,25-27 and 15-9. The Cardinals would then go on to defeat Wisconsin-Parkside in five games later in the day by scores of 19-25, 25-12, 25-18, 21-25 and 15-12.
