UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - Saginaw Valley fell 3-0 to Alma College in a non-conference match up Monday (October 28). Game scores were 33-31 30-26, 31-29. SVSU falls to 7-23 (1-13 GLIAC) for the season, while the Scot's improve to 22-6 overall.
    Despite the loss senior Jamie Reed (Saginaw, Mich./Heritage HS) posted a match-high 36 assists. She also recoded a match-high 27 digs, bumping her career leading record for digs to 1531. She has also registered 482 digs on the year, 51 shy of the SVSU single season record. Sophomore Kelly Stoltz (New Stanton, Pa.) tallied 14 kills and eight digs, while junior Valarie Lyczkowski (Temperance, Mich./Bedford HS) finished with 14 digs and three solo blocks.
    Kristin Judson collected 15 kills and 17 digs leading the Scots to their 22nd victory of the season. Both team finished with 81 digs and Saginaw Valley had 45 kills to Alma's 36.
   The Cardinals will travel to Northern Michigan on Friday (November 1) at 7:00 p.m.
