Wildcats Continue to Dominate, Sweep Cards

Marquette, Mich. – Northern Michigan University's volleyball team contiued its dominance over other GLIAC schools, upping its record to 15-2 overall with a 30-22, 30-31, 30-26 defeat of SVSU on Saturday. SVSU has now dropped all seven conference matches, and nine striaght overall.
      For the Cardinals, Brooke Burton (Temperance) delivered another solid effort. She tallied yet another double-double with 10 kills and eleven digs. Also scoring double-digit digs for the Cards was Jamie Reed (Saginaw/Heritage) with 10.
      The Cards will face Lake State Superior at 2 p.m. Sunday to round out the Upper Peninsula road trip.
