Grand Valley Takes SVSU in Three Games
UNIVERSITY CENTER -- The Saginaw Valley State University women's volleyball
team fell to Grand Valley State University on Friday night by the scores
of 5-15, 3-15, 5-15.
Sophomore Bree Hickman (Temperance/Bedford)
led SVSU with 7 kills and 4 digs, while sophomore Ashley Schafer (Essexville/Garber)
had 4 kills and a block assist. Senior setter Erin Geiger (Belding) chipped
in 20 assists for the Lady Cardinals.
SVSU falls to 5-12 overall and 1-8 in the
GLIAC.
The Lady Cardinals next match is on Saturday,
September 30 when they host Ferris State University. Match time is 3 pm.
