Mich. - SVSU coach Jim Nesbitt is pleased to announce that five
athletes will be competing at the NCAA Division II Indoor Championships
on March 11 & 12 in Boston, Mass. Mary Jo Pouillon (Owosso,
Mich.) qualified for the women. Chris Baranek (Kawkawlin,
Mich./Bay City Western), Adam Roach (Port
Huron, Mich.), Mario Guerrero (Saginaw,
Mich./Swan Valley) and Eltaro Hooper (Ypsilanti,
Mich./Lincoln) qualified for the men. (More)

| 2/26/04 Ladies Finish Seventh at GLIAC Indoor Championship UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State women's track and field squad finished seventh at the 2005 GLIAC Indoor Championships at the James E. O'Neill, Jr. Arena on Saturday with a total of 28 points. Senior Bethany Rasmussen (Port Huron, Mich.) placed fourth in the high jump with a height of 5' 2.25". (Release) |
| 2/5/04 Ladies Finish Eighth at D2 Team Challenge FINDLAY, Ohio - The Saginaw Valley State Lady Cardinals finished eighth of 13 teams with 33 points as Hillsdale took the title with 110.50 points at the D2 Team Challenge on Saturday afternoon. Junior Lisa Fair (Troy, Mich./Athens) had the top individual performance in the 60 meter hurdles coming in second place with a time of 9.23 earning eight points for SVSU. (Release) |
