Kaniszewski Earns All-GLIAC Honors

UNIVERSITY CENTER, MI- Freshman Jesse Kaniszewski (Kingston) was selected to the first team All-GLIAC. Kaniszewski received the most votes at the utility position.

Kaniszewski hit in the second position for SVSU. She finished the season with a .354 batting average. She led the team in times at bat (158) and hits (56). Kaniszewski also accumulated 23 stolen bases in 26 attempts.

"Jesse worked very hard to improve her technique at the plate," commented head coach Fred Neering. "That good work ethic payed off with the league coaches voting her to the all-conference team."

The Lady Cardinals finished their season 23-27-1 overall and 14-12 in the GLIAC.
