Albert To Attend Saginaw Valley

UNIVERSITY CENTER, MI- Saginaw Valley State University softball head coach Fred Neering has announced that Katie Albert (Waterford/Kettering) has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend SVSU in the fall of 2001.

"We are very pleased to have Katie become a key member of our team," commented Neering. "She has had very good coaching at the high school level and during the summer months with her A.S.A. team. We are looking forward to Katie stepping in and becoming an impact player right away. Katie possesses great speed and a good glove and she understands the game and what it takes to be successful. Katie will be a welcome addition to our team."
