      Angela (Brames) Pohl was named as SVSU's Assistant Athletic Director/Senior Woman's Administrator on November 15, 2004. Pohl was formerly the Compliance Coordinator and Athletic Academic Advisor since 2001. Pohl was with the nationally-ranked Kansas State University football program prior to SVSU.
     Pohl completed both her undergraduate and graduate work at Clemson University. While working on her Masters of Education in Guidance and Counseling, Pohl worked as a graduate assistant in the athletic academic advising department at Clemson. Following her graduate education Pohl headed to KSU, where she worked as an academic counselor in their football program. She also led individual and group tutoring sessions for at-risk student-athletes. Pohl also coordinated the community service efforts of the Wildcat football program.
     A four-year scholarship member of the women's soccer team, Pohl was named Clemson University's Female Athlete of the Year in 1998. She was a part of Clemson's NCAA tournament teams from 1995-1998 and is second on Clemson women's soccer all-time list for career starts (47).
