![]() Steve Walker | Playing background Played for over 26 years Started out at Bury FC from age of 8 till 16, then moved to Leigh RMI in the Conference Played a season of indoor for the Arizona Heatwave summer of 2000. Moved to MI in 2002 and played a season with the West Michigan Edge in Grand Rapids before moving to SVSU 1st team All GLIAC in my 1st season, and captained the team in my 1st & 2nd seasons. Coaching background Worked with the Manchester City Youth Development program for 2 years. Moved to the United States when he was 21, working in Chicago with the Major League Soccer team, the Chicago Fire (MLS team) Over the next 3 years worked with MLS teams LA Galaxy, Kansas City Wizards, Tampa Bay Mutiny & Miami Fusion Coached in over 43 different states with MLS summer camps. Worked as an assessor for the Missouri Youth Soccer Organization licensing courses. Was a coaching Director at the Tempe Soccer Club in Arizona in 2000. Worked a season at Midland Soccer Club in 2001. Have worked at Saginaw Township Soccer Association as a trainer for 6 years now. Head coach for Vardar North 95 & 97 girls teams. Head coach of Nouvel Catholic Central boys team from 2005 till 2007, making to the district final 2 out of the 3 years. Head coach of Heritage High School girls team for 2007 season winning the District in his 1st year. Other information Manager of DragoSportPlex in Midland and Saginaw for 2 years now (provides indoor soccer needs for the tri-cities.
