Prior to SVSU: Played four years for Pinckney High School in Pinckney Mich. under coach Paul Bristol for her junior and senior years, played AU basketball for seven years and summer ball from 2002-2007. As a junior, she was named Varsity Team Captain, Athlete of the Day Daily Press & Argus (Owosso), Ann Arbor News Athlete of the Day (twice), All-KVC Academic. In her senior year, she was Varsity Team Captain, Ann Arbor News Athlete of the Day, Daily Press & Argus Athlete of the Day, All-KVC Academic, All-County First Team, Top 20 leading scorers Ann Arbor News, All-KVC Second Team, All-Area Honorable Mention…Personal: Majoring in exercise science with a career goal of becoming a physical therapist…daughter of Joan Ellen Gisner Hughes and Patrick Hughes. |
