| Volleyball Ranked Fifth in NCAA Regional Rankings |
| UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University women’s volleyball team earned the fourth spot in the first NCAA DII Regional Rankings released Wednesday (Oct. 14). The top-eight teams from each region advance to the NCAA Playoffs, SVSU qualified for the NCAA postseason for the first time ever last season as they advanced all the way to the NCAA Midwest Regional Final against Grand Valley. The Cardinals will return to action this weekend in the GLIAC/GLVC Crossover Tournament being played in Lansing, Mich. SVSU will play two matches on Friday (Oct. 16); the first against Drury University at 11:00 am and then Northern Kentucky at 4:00 pm. The Cardinals will match-up with Indianapolis on Saturday (Oct. 17) to round out its weekend matches at the tournament. |
