| Barrett Selected GLIAC Player of the Week |
| BAY CITY, Mich. - Saginaw Valley State University senior mid-fielder Jaclyn Barrett (Williamston, Mich.) was selected GLIAC Women’s Soccer "Athlete of the Week" after recording two goals and leading the Cardinals to a 1-0-1 mark over the weekend. Barrett, a captain on the women’s soccer team, recorded two goals en-route to leading the Cardinals to a 1-0-1 weekend, which included a 5-0 victory over Ferris State University on Friday (10/2) and a 1-1 tie with No.4-ranked Grand Valley State University. Barrett has led the SVSU to an 8-1-2 record this fall, recording seven goals and four assists with 18 total points. The Cardinals will return to the field Friday (Oct. 9) when they host Tiffin University at 2:00 pm. |
