| SVSU Summer Camps Announces Partnership with Just for Kids program |
| UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - Saginaw Valley State University has partnered with the Just for Kids Program to offer scholarship opportunities to select kids attending the 2009 summer sports camps at SVSU. Maier & Associates, is a company that has been very a very active participant in many Great Lake Bay Region charitable causes. In 2001, Maier & Associates Charitable Foundation was created as a nonprofit organization. Since then, they have donated nearly $200,000 each year to many organizations and individuals throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region. The Foundation was designed to help the children other agencies and programs were missing and give each child the same opportunities others have. Just for Kids program is looking for areas in the community that were or that are not being helped by government agencies and other charitable organizations and programs. This partnership will offer scholarships for the SVSU summer camp program for football, girl’s basketball, boy’s basketball, softball and volleyball For kids K-8TH Grade.
