September 20 SVSU Good For Two Second-Place Finishes ALLENDALE, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University men's cross
country team competed at Grand Valley Friday, (September 20.) The
winning time was posted by Steve Larson of Hillsdale, racing thru
the finish line with a time of 25:55.52. The top finisher for the
Cardinals came from Adam Roach (Port Huron, Mich.)
placing 39th, with a time of 27:47.18. Sophomore Jerome Recker
(Kimball, Mich. /Port Huron HS) ran a time of 28:32.80 to
finish 49th overall, while freshman Brandon Johnson (Owosso,
Mich.) finished 54th with a time of 28:39.57.
