Season: Played in all 27 matches for the Cardinals, starting
in 24 of them...led the team in field goals with 106 on the year...finished
the year averaging 10.7 points per game, good for second on the
team...scored a season-high 26 points against Marygrove College
(1/7/06)...matched a team-high season mark for three-pointers made
with five in the same game against Marygrove...matched a team-high
season mark for steals in a game against Northwood (2/11/06).
2004-05
Season: Played in 27 contests and started in 21 of those
contests...averaged a team-high 30.8 minutes per game and had a
high of 41 minutes versus Ferris State (12/11/04)...ranked second
on the team with 98 field goals and shot 33.9 percent from the floor...ranked
second on the team with 36 three-pointers and shot 31.6 percent
from the arc...connected on 39-of-50 free throws (.780)...one of
three players with at least 100 rebounds and averaged 3.7 rebounds
per game...dished out 33 assists including four assists versus Findlay
(1/15/05)...ranked second on the team with 25 steals...ranked third
on the team with 10.0 points per game...turned in a brilliant performance
with a season-high 33 points on 11-of-19 shooting in a win at Michigan
Tech (1/27/05)...also set season-highs with eight rebounds and five
triples against the Huskies...scored 22 points including 9-of-10
from the charity stripe at Mercyhurst (1/6/05)...scored in double
figures in 14 games including six straight games from 12/18/04 to
1/6/05...had more assists than turnovers in eight games...scored
a team-best 14 points and grabbed five rebounds at Central Michigan
(11/27/04).
Prior
to SVSU/Personal: Played one season at Manchester College
under current SVSU head coach Jamie Matthews in 2003-04...led Manchester
in scoring averaging 15.9 points per game......named the team's
Freshman of the Year...named to the all-HCAC conference team...named
to the conference all-tournament team...prepped at Indianapolis
Pike High School...two-year varsity standout...went 29-0 during
his senior year and won state championship...son of Maurice and
Patricia McDaniel...exercise science major...born 7/30/85. |
