March 4, 2005 PARKER NAMED SECOND TEAM ALL-GLIAC NORTH BAY CITY, Mich. - The Great Lakes Intercollegiate
Athletic Conference (GLIAC) announced that senior forward Anthony
Parker (Muskegon, Mich./Mona Shores) has been
named to the Second Team All-GLIAC North Division. Parker has earned
this honor for three straight seasons and once again this year led
the team in scoring (15.5 ppg). He missed eight games due to injury,
but still managed to score in double figures on 16 occasions. In
addition, Parker set a single-season record shooting 90 percent
(63-of-70) at the free throw line. Parker shot 41 percent from the
floor and 39 percent from the arc. He finished his career ranked
third all-time at SVSU with 1,696 points. # # SVSU# # |
