PARKER SCORES 26 POINTS IN LOSS TO NORTHWOOD

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – Senior forward Anthony Parker (Muskegon, Mich./Mona Shores) scored a season-high 26 points and hit double figures in scoring for the seventh straight game in a 72-59 defeat against Northwood. Parker was 9-of-17 shooting the rock and also grabbed seven boards with three steals.
     Senior forward Kenny Nether (Southfield, Mich./Canton) scored 17 points on 5-of-9 from the field and 7-of-11 at the foul line. SVSU shot a season-low 27.9 percent (19-of-68) and were 11.8 percent (4-of-34) from the arc. SVSU corraled 17 offensive rebounds and committed just seven turnovers. Junior Graham Mertz led Northwood with 22 points.
