GROSSE ILE, Mich. – The Saginaw Valley State University men’s golf team finished in ninth place overall at the Motor City Invitational, hosted by Wayne State University. The Cardinals finished with a three-round 938 (+86). Ferris State University won the event with a total of 880 (+28), four strokes ahead of runner-up host Wayne State.[
GROSSE ILE, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University men’s golf team struggled through the first 18 holes of play at the Motor City Invitational, hosted by Wayne State University. The Cardinals (+46) sit in 10th place out of 10 schools after one round of play. Ashland University leads the tournament so far, sitting in first with a score of +13. [
MARQUETTE, Mich. – The Saginaw Valley State University men’s golf team finished in a tie for fourth place at the 2009 GLIAC Men’s Golf Championships, held on the Greywalls Course at the Marquette Golf Club. The Cardinals finished with a three-round score of +56 to finished in a deadlock with Ferris State University. Grand Valley State University claimed the 2009 title with a team total of 29-over par, 20 strokes ahead of tourney runner-up University of Findlay.[
UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – The Saginaw Valley State University men’s golf team sits in fifth-place overall after the second round of the 2009 GLIAC Men’s Golf Championships on the Greywalls Course at the Marquette Golf Club. Grand Valley State University retains its first day lead, now at +24 overall for the tournament, followed by Wayne State University, which is at +30.[
