April 18, 2005 Cards Stumble to 16th at Great Lakes Regional #3 AUBURN, Ind. – The Saginaw Valley State men's golf squad would like to forget about the Great Lakes Regional Qualifier #3 held at Deer Track Golf Course. Saginaw Valley finished 16th out of 18 schools at the event with a two-round team total of 611. The Cardinals fired a 307 in the first round on Saturday and were three strokes better at 304 on Sunday. Sean Rutherford (Haslett, Mich.) fared the best at the challenging course firing a +4 (148) with equal rounds of 74 on both days. Adam Miller (Gaylord, Mich.) had the next best finish and tied for 44th at +8 (77-75). Scott Urquhart (Queens Ferry, Scotland) finished tied for 60th at +11 (77-78) and Adam Haswell (79-80) finished at +15. Final
