CARDS WIN
NORTHWOOD INVITE BY SIX STROKES OVER HOST SCHOOL
MIDLAND, Mich. – Saginaw Valley State had
three top-10 finishes on Friday at the 36-hole Northwood Invite
propelling them to a six-stroke win over the host Timberwolves
at Currie Golf Course. The top honors for SVSU went to freshman
Mike King (Livonia, Mich.) who fired a 145 (+1)
which was a personal best. Sophomore Adam Miller
(Gaylord, Mich.) continued to play well with a fourth-place finish,
his third top-10 performance this season, and a total of 146 (+2).
Junior Darren Husse (Fenton, Mich./Hartland HS)
tied for ninth at 149 as the Cards captured their second victory
of the fall.
