SVSU Competes in
Bulldog Invitational
BIG RAPIDS, Mich. – The Saginaw Valley State University
golf team came home with a seventh-place showing among twelve
teams in the Bulldog Men’s Fall Invitational hosted by Ferris
State University. The action unfolded on Friday (September 12)
and Saturday (September 13). Oakland University won the event
with an overall team score of 579, with the Cardinals carding
an overall team score of 613.
Sophomore Adam Haswell
(Freeland, Mich.) and senior Ryan Waier
(Saginaw, Mich./Heritage HS) each finished with individual
scores of 152 to lead the Cardinals, tying for 26th place overall.
Senior Dave Niewiadomski (Alanson, Mich./Littlefield
HS) followed with a 154, good enough for 34th place overall,
while sophomore Darren Husse (Fenton, Mich./St.
Thomas Moore HS) finished in 38th place with a score of 155.
Freshman Adam Miller (Gaylord, Mich.)
rounded out the Cardinal contingent with a 160, placing him 56th
overall.
