     Mike Juscik enters his sixth season on the Cardinal football coaching staff and will coach the inside linebackers. Juscik served as wide receivers coach in 2001, after coaching the linebackers in 2000. Prior to coming to SVSU, Juscik coached linebackers at Franklin College (Ind.). In the last eight seasons, he has coached 12 players who have earned all-conference honors under his guidance.
In 2001, Juscik helped the Cardinals passing attack continue to set records, as they set new marks for passes completed and passing yards in a season.
As a collegiate, Juscik attended Ball State University where he was a wide receiver on the 1993 MAC Championship team. Juscik earned his B.S. degree in Exercise Science and Wellness from Ball State in 1994. In May 2003 he completed a Master’s Degree in Organization, Leadership and Administration from SVSU.
Juscik also worked as a varsity and junior varsity coach at his alma matter, Bishop Noll Institute in Indiana. Born in Hammond, Indiana, he is the son of Christine and John Juscik.
